Alabama Virtual Library
The Alabama Virtual Library provides all students, teachers, and citizens of the state of Alabama with online access to essential library and information resources. It is primarily a group of online data bases that have magazine, journal, and newspaper articles for research. Through the AVL, an equitable core of information resources are available to every student and citizen in Alabama, raising the level of excellence in schools and communities across the state.

Monday - Friday
Morning Checkout 7:20-8:00
Book Checkout times vary each day. Please see the monthly schedule that is posted outside of the Library Media Center on the "Information Station" bulletin board.
Library Skills/Digital Literacy classes are held every Wednesday and Friday.
FAMILY LIBRARY NIGHTS
Family Library Nights are usually held 3pm-6pm every Tuesday that school is in session. The only exception is when there is a scheduling conflict.
Announcements
The last day for students to meet their AR Goal for the 4th Quarter is May 1st!
The annual JIS AR Parade will be: May 8th @ 9:30am at the school. More information will be sent home May 1st.
